Reflecting on roots on the toilet
Ok Luke 7:34 -50 something I missed or didn’t get to. Simon is the Master of the house Jesus is a guest but not a very well respected guest or cared for or honored. The woman who is known for not having the most prefect of lives. (I’ll leave it like that as I have some crying people as friends on facebook that might get offend by colourful wording)
Ok Jesus makes Simon the master of the house, the first most important person in the house the last himself Jesus the first and the woman Second In importance in the House. Jesus becomes the centre of attention the one that should of been is honored the one who is been served. He (Jesus) forgives the sins of the woman and give her significance where is the past she was made an outsider in the community. Bottom line Jesus has a heart for the people on the Fringes of community and wants to bless them with uncontrollable Grace.
Also we should be like the men and woman who are radically change by encountering Jesus and put him in the centre of our lives pour out everything to Jesus and throw away our pride and our false believes and jut get more of Jesus.
The Return Part 1
Hi everyone
I’m blogging my days so far in Wolves
Been here for a night have some amazing flat mate’s who seem to be a good laugh and the Flat is amazing it’s in the centre of the city and is the hub for WPM so I’m told. Which it’s seem like it is. In 2 year things have moved on at am amazing rate seeing the hard work of Richard and his team has been a blessing.
With my new friend Mark I headed to Hannah’s got lost about 3 times walking from the bus stop it was great to see Hannah, Chris and the family. We came to watch the football but I’m not sure if you could call England Vs Algeria Football. The only good thing was Carragher’s Yellow card so he would be playing in the next match.
Anyway after the match back into wolves to meet up with Steve and the Street Pastors. Some old faces showed up notable the Rev Richard Moy. Prayers where said and we where off took the table and the heavy bag wish someone told me the heavy bag had wheels as I carried it all the way to Oceana. (Thanks Rich and Steve) Rich and I when off for a prayer patrol walk around the city like old times we talk a lot well I walked a lot. We prayed over the city (Jake had said God was moving more in the city and there was a peace I felt but it was a quite night). I noticed that one of the Strip Clubs had re open since I’d left as there was promotion girl trying to get people to go to the one that was still open when I left anyway I hope we will see a day when these places close for Good in Wolves. As Rich was really tired he when home early I when around the main streets with a Cuban called Daniel a great man of God with a great testimony to tell and so happy we feed some homeless and gave out blankets. Street Pastors do a good job and really engaged when people in the city centre at night it was amazing to see. I pray for the Indian couple Daniel and I met with 6 suit cases we waited with the man wife as he got a Taxi I hope they have a place to stay. Street pastor finished sort of early it was a quite night and everyone was tired. I commented to Steve that street pastors seemed more professional now I must remember to point out to Hannah the hard work she has done with that. After day one Wolverhampton Pioneer Ministries look like an amazing success going from strength to strength.
Back in the flat it was hard to get to sleep on the floor it was so warm and comfortable but all the noise of people going about outside kept me up need to learn to block it out.
Heading Into Hell! The Effect of Halloween in Derry
Ok I was looking in the custom shop today in the Richmond centre some of the outfits I seen for Ladies to wear looked trashy. For the other 49 Weeks of the year you would have to go to Ann Summers or another Sleazy sex shop to get Outfits as sexually suggestive as these. But the City’s Council promotes this the king of all non-holidays to get more tourists in using Derry City Airport (Which is owned by the Council) to boost the cities income in autumn.
Halloween is ultimately a pagan festival which promotes the cult. So we have the openness of evil and sometimes Worship of False Ideals. We have drunkenness, drug use, sexually sin along with young girl going out at a young age dress like cheap tarts.
What the City needs is Jesus. It needs to throw away its false god’s. It needs to know that meeting Jesus will be a real celebration for Derry not some false carnival of sin. People need to see that Jesus is God he his good, he is better than any drug legal or otherwise. You don’t need to dress like a prostitute for him to love you. He’s not going to use you like a guy in bar you just meet. Jesus thinks you’re wonderful. Jesus loves us to must he thought we are worthy to die for and he did die for us around 2000 years ago on a cross.
In doing so he washes us clean form sin. From all the things we did and didn’t do or thought.
I hope next year Halloween is cancelled in Derry but we have a massive all Saints Day Festival instead.

Ok this is a Question Mark Driscoll was Asked in his live uncensored text message Q&A session at Mars Hill Church in Seattle. I don’t know the answer he gave but I hope it when a bit like this. In the cabin I stayed in when I was in Romania We talked over this question.
Here’s my Biblical answer.
I want to first look at Psalm 139 verses 13-17
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to [b] me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
I look at this question and I hear it from a Woman who feels she’s getting old and worries so much about how she look, fashion and really wants to be seen as sexy by men. She wants to be wanted she wants to be known as attractive. Firstly I would say God doesn’t want a Woman to be an object of Lust. Secondly The Psalm above Says God created you as you are he love you, God has he hand upon you he your mother’s Womb. We also see the psalmist talk about Gods thoughts been precious and you where in Gods though as he created you. We have to realize as a people that God made us in his own image and he is a better designer than any plastic surgeon with 2 bits of Silicone. I mean better like by a few miles at least lol. Compared to God’s Design and knowledge the Plastic Surgeon is a Tata Nano and God’s a Ferrari Enzo (That just so Jeremy Clarkson can understand and maybe one day read this and be saved)
You know God is a great alpha and omega God; Paul right god’s fullness is far greater that all man’s wisdom. So God’s designed your body for a purpose so really it doesn’t need added to for superficial reasons. Also if a woman has breast implants for example, ok her husband may love big Boobs great maybe so do the other guy at that woman’s Church so there for her man made fake boobs cause other men to sin in a number of ways. Jesus and also Paul say you shouldn’t cause other’s to sin. So in a woman having a boob job you have men lusting causing them to have sinful thoughts about a married woman. (Sin is bad if you don’t know lol)
I think what is all comes down to this and in closing Christ taught
36“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[b]
38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c]
40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
So when should remember to love God the father Son and Holy Spirit with all our hearts and to love our neighbor as yourself. So if you want to love your neighbor you need to love yourself first.

Romania
Ok Romania was a really wild time. I had real encounters with God’s Grace and Love. I had a great Revelation of the Kingdom of God in action. Networks are a great missionary organization showing the compassion of Christ to the poorest people of Romania. I hope and pray their work continues.
I really hope to comeback to Romania and support the works of networks in Romania.

A painting on the wall
Ok I was thinking the other day about my time in Wolverhampton.
I remember one day when in the Chaplaincy building speak with the chaplain Rev Geoffrey Wynne I commented on the painting which hung on the wall at the front of the small meeting hall in the building. I said something like “that’s one of those all creeds are the same nicely, nicely painting to show diversity in the University.” I was quickly rebuked by the Chaplain.
Let me describe this painting it was on a circular canvas. It was all the colours of the rainbow coming out from the centre. Like light shooting out from a prism.
The Chaplain informed me that he felt it was the most wonderful image of the gospel. I was puzzled at this reply he said the painting name was the light of the world. (Jesus was called the light of the world in the bible) don’t you see like the gospel the rays of light shooting out all around touching lives. “But look again at that painting Matthew,” Geoffrey advised “do the rays of colour just go out or do they draw u in?” I looked again and I say the painting in a ne way I understood how it showed the gospel as it drew u into the centre and at that centre was Jesus and his Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus Christ that shoots out and touches lives and draws you into the story of an amazing Savour.

Life’s roundabout
i’m back at work for stream and i left uni.
yeah thats about it. I’ll talk later about the path i’ve had to walk and the journey i have made over the past few months. once i make total sense of it i nearly have but it’s been amazing.
I’m back where i start 2 years ago i think i had a trip on life’s roundabout and missed my exit.
This week I’m thinking about love
